(MENAFN) The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, or Dewa, is willing to improve its power and water infrastructure by a number of developmental projects, according to Khaleej Times.
The projects aim to support Dubai’s growth and to reach the highest levels of services efficiency.
The authority will invest USD97.98 million in a water pipeline project, which will include supplying, implementing and extending a water transmission network.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, managing director and chief executive of the Dewa, said: “The Dewa consistently works to enhance the efficiency of its overall operations to promote the growth and sustainable development in Dubai. To date, we have extended 37.7km of water pipelines, about 56 per cent of the project.”
