(MENAFN) Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Co.’s (du) 2014 net profit stood at USD574.34 million, up from USD541.68 million in 2013, marking a 6 percent increase after royalty, Emirates 247 reported.
Before royalty, net profit increased 22.8 percent year-on-year to USD1billion versus USD819.33 million in 2013, the telecom firm said in a statement.
Revenues grew to USD3.32 billion in 2014, a 13.3 percent increase compared to USD2.93billion in 2013.
“EBITDA for the year reached USD1.36billion, an annual increase of 16.8 percent. Data continued to drive the momentum in our business as customers’ demand for connectivity remained strong,” Du’s CEO said.
