Dubai’s Famco signs distribution deal with Himoinsa

(MENAFN) The Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Auto and Machinery Company (Famco) said that the Dubai-based firm has signed up to be the exclusive UAE dealer for Himoinsa, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of generators, according to a press statement.
With its headquarters in Spain, Himoinsa is a leader in the generator industry, particularly with sound-attenuated diesel generator sets, and has developed a full range of generators with a unique look and quality, the official said.
The market for diesel generators in the UAE is very promising, and as a major distributor Famco hopes to build on Himoinsa’s global reputation as a recognised leader in the generator industry, he added.
The high quality and safety features of the Himoinsa range, together with Famco’s ability to market the product with effective aftersales support, will play a very important role in making this partnership a great success, the official said.
