Dubai’s hotels revenue hit USD3.18b in H1

(MENAFN) Dubai’s hotels registered more than 5.8 million tourists in the January-June period, which is the highest number of tourists ever achieved in the first half of the year, Arabian Business reported.

Revenues for hotels, hotel apartments witnessed a huge increase, reaching USD3.18 billion, an increase of 10.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

This growth happens after Dubai added more than 7.000 hotel rooms to its previous capacity, totaling now to 88.680 rooms across 634 establishments.

Meanwhile, guest numbers across all hotels and hotel apartments witnessed a surge in their numbers, reaching to 5.828.449 guests.
