(MENAFN) The indicator for construction costs in Dubai last year was 100.60, a decrease of 0.37 percent compared to 2014, due to fall in the indicator of raw materials.
Additionally, the drop was from 99.62 to 98.73 percent in 2015, a result of a drop in the prices of materials used for building by 0.89 percent.
Moreover, prices of raw materials utilized for residential buildings and non-residential buildings declined last year by 0.84 percent and 1.12 percent.
Prices of wood and wood products declined 1.16 percent in the cited year over 2014, because of a drop in prices of sawn and polished wood by 2.66 percent.
