(MENAFN) Work on the first phase of Dubai’s trolley-tracks and the trolley depots has begun, with a scheduled launching at the beginning of next year, Khaleej Times reported.
The electric trolley tram will play on a seven-kilometer stretch and save people the trouble of having to walk in the Downtown area especially in the summer months.
“Dubai Trolley… builds on the trolley tram systems that are in use in several cities across the US and Europe,” managing director of Emaar Properties said in a statement.
