(MENAFN) An e-commerce provider ShopGo, confirmed that UAE’s e-commerce is growing, as it claims that the market posted 300 percent growth between 2013 and 2014, Arabian Business reported.
The company showed that e-commerce sector in the UAE is worth USD2.5 billion, representing 55 percent of the GCC’s total e-commerce market.
“People are realizing the potential of e-commerce and they are slowly gaining a better understanding of the needs of the business. We utilize these workshops to provide those with an interest in the industry and potential projects with the right information and tools required to put their great ideas into practice,” said the company’s CEO.
He added that launching the right store is significant, but also improving it is relevant to the business. The company encourages their clients to spare some of their budget for digital marketing, to boost awareness and sales on their online store.
