(MENAFN) The Dubai government has announced the appointment of a new board for its Economic Zones World, a subsidiary of the troubled Dubai World conglomerate which is undergoing restructuring, Gulf Daily News reported.
The mission of the new board will be to develop the activities of Economic Zones World (EZW) based on regional and global economic conjuncture, the government said in statement.
EZW develops and operates economic zones as well as industrial parks with projects underway in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas, according to its website.
The commission overseeing the restructuring of Dubai World has also decided to give real estate giant Nakheel control of Limitless – a unit of Dubai World.
