(MENAFN) Egypt aims to support Africa’s industrial sector to increase the volume of Intra-African trade to reach USD 250bn by 2021, from USD 170bn.
Additionally, both sides discussed the current increased collaboration between them via the Egyptian-African program to promote trade.
Moreover, Egypt has allocated a USD 500mn credit line to facilitate the movement of trade between them and other African nations.
Developing Intra-African trade will support reduce the continent’s reliance on basic goods and raw materials.
