(MENAFN) Minister of Finance exposed that the government collected EGP75bn amid the new budget 2017/2018, which starts on July 1 this year, aiming to reduce the inflationary effects of the economic reform program.
Meanwhile, the financial cost of the package of procedures reached almost EGP75bn, which means that the size of the budget of the fiscal year, will reach EGP1.2tr.
Accordingly, the package benefits more than 90 percent of the citizens and involves an increase in the allocations of the individual ration goods from EGP21 to EGP50.
The country supports almost 68.8mn citizens amid almost 20.8mn ration cards, while the government collects EGP21 per month for every citizen recorded in ration cards system.
