(MENAFN) There are predictions that 80 to 100 international firms will invest almost USD 5bn in the Egyptian-Chinese industrial zone in Ain Sokhna.
Furthermore, the managing director of Tianjin Teda Company Limited proclaimed that these investments will offer 20,000 to 30,000 jobs chances.
In addition, 68 firms, from Egypt, Japan, Korea, France and china have already invested almost USD 1bn in the area, while 33 of these firms operate in the field.
The Egyptian-Chinese industrial zone is host to five key industries, namely silos, equipment, petroleum products, non-woven textiles and complementary industries.
