(MENAFN) The Egyptian Elect Holding Co. (EEHC) has delivered three bids from firms to establish a power plant with coal at a capacity of 6.000MW and with investments of USD10bn at Hamrawein.
Additionally, the firm has not contracted until now with the Belgian consultancy office Tractebel due to differences regarding some items of the deal.
Meanwhile, companies will apply to implement the projects according to the fiscal and technical envelopes system, while the EEHC will co-op with the consultancy office.
Moreover, the elect plants using coal are part of the ministry”s goal to spread the sources of energy production to offer elect without outages and achieve sustainability.
