Egypt-IDA offers EGP4.4b to work on 37 industrial zones

(MENAFN) The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) proclaimed that the total number of industrial zones in Egypt reached 129, of which 77 zones are linked with their governorates.
Accordingly, through the Industrial Zones support and infrastructure fund, the IDA managed to offer EGP4.4bn to finish work on 37 industrial zones in 20 governorates.
In addition, the minister of trade is planning, in collaboration with other ministries to resolve the problems and obstacles facing industrial development in these zones.
Meanwhile, the members of the New Industrial Zones Committee prepare a study on the participation of the private sector in organizing and operating industrial sanitation plans.
