Egypt intends to increase gas production by next June
27 Jul 2017
(MENAFN) Egypt posted that its natural gas output is estimated to hit about 6.2 billion cubic feet (bcf) per day by the end of the fiscal year next June compared with 5.2 bcf/d nowadays.
Petroleum Minister stated Egypt has lately started to import natural gas as the local production didn”t cover the increasing request.
On the other hand, the official added that the programs involve the mammoth Zohr Mediterranean gas field recognized by Italy’s Eni before 2 years.
