Egypt Ministry of Elect receives EGP700mn cleaning fees

(MENAFN) The Ministry of Elect allocated EGP700mn in cleaning fees from regional councils, involved in electricity consumption bills for 2016.
Accordingly, the elect distribution firms inked deals with the provinces, which will allocate monthly cleaning fees and supplies them to provinces with a 5pct collection commission.
Moreover, the value of the cleaning fees supplied to the local councils differs from month to month, while the supplied fees of Nov were at EGP55mn and EGP60mn in Dec.
Meanwhile, the elect distribution firms in north and south Cairo, and North Delta posted the highest value of cleaning fee allocations.
