Egypt, PepsiCo to sign USD500m investment deal

(MENAFN) PepsiCo said that it is committed to Egypt with an investment worth USD500 million at the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) hosted by the Egyptian President, Saudi Gazette reported.
PepsiCo operates 11 manufacturing facilities throughout Egypt; it has approximately 47 distribution centers/warehouses/offices, and provides full-time employment to more than 10,500 Egyptians.
“Egypt is the anchor of our North African operations and one of our most important and promising markets,” PepsiCo’s President for the Middle East and Africa said in a statement.
