Egypt to discuss application of Dairut, Nowais Elect projects
22 Sep 2016
(MENAFN) Egypt will resume negotiations to launch electricity power plant after confirming upon some pending items in the deals.
Accordingly, the ministry will complete the deal and the signing of contracts for a number of projects, which are for the production of electricity through coal energy.
The ministry also approved the technical and financial aspects of the project and there are some legal provisions that need to be resolved.
In addition, the Ministry of Elect aims to generate 2.250 MW of Dairut power plant, which will be the first project of its kind that works through BOO system.
