(MENAFN) Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt’s top tourism destinations has been facing an unprecedented hard time following the Russian plane crash last month.
The tragedy led to the evacuation of most foreign tourists by operators, hence suspending all planned flights, especially the ones from Britain and Russia.
However, the government has started a PR campaign abroad, like flying a Saudi Arabian delegation to Sharm el-Sheikh, and is attempting to boost local tourism.
Egypt is working closely with top agencies to improve security at the town’s airport, thus applying better cooperation with foreign nations, like training security officers.
