(MENAFN) The Ministry of Finance has involved the fiscal allocations for sanitation in the general budget of the coming fiscal year under the allocations of the health sector.
Additionally, the health sector’s allots in the coming budget are projected at EGP53.7bn, whereas the ministry of health requested to enhance its allocations to EGP61bn.
Accordingly, the Health Committee rejected involving the allocations for sewage amid the sector, emphasizing that they should remain under the housing sector and new urban communities.
Meanwhile, the Committee has submitted a report to the Ministry of Finance demanding to boost the health allots to reach 3 percent of GDP.
