Egypt’s government depends on ICT sector to raise economy

(MENAFN) The Egyptian government is counting on the information and communications technology (ICT) sector, in order to increase national economy in the coming period.
Furthermore, the Ministry intends to increase the sector’s growth rate by 10 percent over the next financial year (2016/2017).
Accordingly, the Ministry cleared the basic features of the plan, including new incidences for mobile phones, with fourth-generation (4G) services.
Additionally, applying the plan is postponed due to the huge number of possible users and the need to organize the introduction of 4G with changes in frequencies used for televisions.
