(MENAFN) Minister of Trade and Industry proclaimed that he will establish 200 small factories in each of Upper Egypt’s seven governorates and will offer the projects to an industrial developer.
Accordingly, the cabinet confirmed amending Law No. 155 for 2002 relating to exports development, which gives export councils legal status.
Meanwhile, councils will be eligible to open logistic centers and the Fed of Egyptian Industries will have the right to choose a third of the council’s members.
Moreover, exports increased by USD1.8bn, marking a 25 percent increase, in Jan and by USD1.5bn, in Feb, compared to the same months last year.
