Emirates Airline sign USD2.61m UK tower sponsorship accord

(MENAFN) After signing an agreement worth USD2.61m with Portsmouth City Council, Emirates Airline is set to sponsor Spinnaker Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the United Kingdom, 7Days reported.
The agreement, which goes for five years, entails that the tower is to be rebranded as Emirates Spinnaker Tower from July, when the airline is scheduled to undertake the full operations of the landmark.
“As the most prominent landmark in Portsmouth we are honored to be the inaugural sponsor of Emirates Spinnaker Tower,” the President of Emirates Airline said in a statement.
