(MENAFN) Emirates’ Senior Vice-President, Commercial Operations Gulf, Middle East and Iran, Ahmed Khoory, stated that the carrier will increase its services to Saudi by 12 percent in 2012, reported Emirates 24/7.
Khoory added that the increase will lift the current weekly 15,140 seats on services to Jeddah and Riyadh by 1,722 extra seats on each direction.
He also said that the measure will boost services to Jeddah to 18 weekly flights from the current 14, whereas flights to Riyadh will grow from 13 a week to 17.
It is worth noting that the new services to Jeddah will take effect from June 1, while they will start on August 1 on the Riyadh route.
