(MENAFN) Emirates’ executive vice-president for passenger sales, Thierry Antinori, stated that the carrier would be able to gain profits in 2012 despite the increasing fuel costs, reported Bloomberg.
Antinori added that the carrier would also go ahead with expansion plans including the addition 31 aircraft, 200 pilots as well as new destinations.
It is worth mentioning that the company has not provided a specific financial outlook for 2012 so far.
