(MENAFN) Emirates Airline senior vice president, Commercial Operations, Europe & Russian Federation, Salem Obaidalla, stated that by February 2013, the carrier will operate all its 5 daily services to London Heathrow with A380s, reported Arabian Business.
Obaidalla said that the decision was taken due to the growing customer demand for the A380 aircraft, adding that travelers to and from London Heathrow will enjoy the A380 experience on every flight, soon.
He noted that through the step, Emirates will become the main double decker operator into London, with a total of 42 A380 flights to the country each week, including the daily Manchester A380 service.
It is worth noting that the Dubai-based carrier started using the A380 aircraft on a scheduled service to Heathrow in December 2008.
