(MENAFN) Dubai-based Empire Aviation’s Executive director, Steve Hartley, stated that the company is planning expanding into offices in India, reported The National.
Hartley said that the plan is for the new offices to be located in Mumbai by mid-2011. He said that India is a market that has wealthy clients who need a company to manage their total of 130 to 140 jets.
The director added that this rich market would definitely add to Empire Aviation’s current fleet of 20 aircraft for private owners.
It is worth noting that many operators and jet management companies are eyeing a stake in the promising Indian market. In late 2010, Royal Jet partnered with an Indian company in order to boost presence there.
