Enec develops vital installation at nuclear factory

(MEANFN) The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (Enec) said it has completes a milestone in the development of the country’s first nuclear energy plant.
In detail, the corporation has installed its Unit 3 Reactor Vessel (RV) at Barakah.The installation is a critical step in the continued progress and delivery of the country’s third nuclear energy unit.
Additionally, this successful installation follows the successful installation of the Barakah Unit 2 RV in the previous year and the Unit 1 RV in 2014, said a statement from Enec.
It’s worth mentioning that the reactor vessel, weighing over 400 tones and measuring almost 15 meters, is one of the most important part and largest components in a nuclear energy plant.
