(MENAFN) Algeria”s energy exports grew by 8 percent in August this year to 71.5mn tons of oil equivalent, against 65.4mn tons in the same month of last year.
Moreover, the country begun to reverse a trend of dropping production by targeting better output from more oilfields and will bring more gas fields online.
Meanwhile, Algeria enhanced gas exports through its three pipelines by 43 percent in the same month.
However, oil exports dropped by 8 percent, which was used to refine gasoline and diesel, while the country reduced its imports (gasoline, diesel) by 43 percent.
