(MENAFN) The Chief Executive Officer of Epoc Messe Frankfurt, Ahmed Pauwels, said that the Dubai-based trade fair and conference organizer is seeking to expand into the Saudi Arabian market, reported Arab News.
Pauwels said that the company plans on launching a security-related trade show as its first step to enter the Saudi market, which is considered the GCC’s largest market.
The CEO said that the company’s goal behind the trade event is to provide a platform to assist in exchanging ideas for manufacturers, suppliers and service providers representing this giant marketplace.
It is worth noting that, between the year 2010 and 2018, the Saudi market for homeland security is expected to become the second largest in the world after the US market with a total worth of around USD97 billion.
