(MENAFN) Ray Hassan, Ericsson’s president for the GCC region revealed that the world’s largest maker of mobile network equipment has set a five year plan, ending 2015, to double its revenues in the Middle East region, Arabian Business reported.
The Sweden based telecom giant considers the Middle East as a prime region for expansion, since it is not yet as mature as the western markets, explained Hassan.
It is worth noting that the Middle East region currently accounts for only a tenth of Ericsson’s global revenues.
