(MENAFN) Eros Group chief executive, Deepak Babani, said that the Dubai-based company which specializes in selling Samsung and Hitachi electronics in the UAE plans to expand in Qatar, reported The National.
The CEO said that this move comes as the company expects an increase in sales of flat-screen television sets both to businesses and individuals before the 2022 FIFA world cup that would be held in the country.
The CEO added that the company expects a lot of Business-to-Business new relations in Qatar. The company would target stadiums and hotels mainly. He explained that Qatar plans to create extra 55,000 hotel rooms which would for sure require televisions.
It is worth noting that Eros Group had a 37 percent increase in revenue in 2010 compared to a year before. The company registered strong presence and growth in the UAE since its launch.
