(MENAFN) Etihad Airways unveiled launching plans for a new contact center in Manchester that would require the hiring of 160 new employees, reported emirates 24/7.
The Abu Dhabi-based carrier stated that it is in talks with the Manchester Airports Group in order to select a convenient location on the airport campus for the center that would be launched next year.
Etihad said that the addition of this center comes in response to the increasing inquiries from Etihad clients via phone. The company said that it currently receives 2.5 million calls on a yearly basis. The company added that around fifty percent of these call would be coming from non-Arabic speakers by 2012.
It is worth noting that Etihad currently has contact centers in Al Ain, India and Australia in Addition to Abu Dhabi.
