(MENAFN) Etihad Airways country manager in India, Neerja Bhatia, said that the airline would start new flights the Garden City in Bangalore, Etihad’s eighth destination in the country, reported The National.
Bhatia said that Etihad would operate a daily flight to Bangalore, thus adding to the already existing four return flights the airline conducted every week. The first flight would take off in March 2011.
Bhatia pointed out the importance of India for Etihad as India has the highest number of destinations for the Airline.
It is worth noting that the new flight would be run on an Airbus A320 with the capacity of 140 passengers. The flight would have two classes where majority of seats would be placed in Economy class.
