(MENAFN) Etihad Airways’ CEO, James Hogan, said that the carrier would launch flights to Mahe in the Republic of Seychelles the coming November, reported Emirates 24/7.
Hogan added that the national airline of the UAE would operate four return services per week from Abu Dhabi to the International Airport of Seychelles in Mahe via an Airbus A320 aircraft on the route that would be configured with two cabins, the Pearl Business and Coral Economy, offering 1,088 seats every week.
He also said that since being one of the best destinations in the world, a growing number of UAE residents and European travelers had an increasing demand for flights to Seychelles.
It is worth noting that Etihad Airways expects Seychelles to be a hugely popular destination, especially for holidaymakers from the GCC and European markets, due to the ease of connecting services through Abu Dhabi and convenient scheduling. It will become the carrier’s 68th destination on global network.
