Etisalat’s Nigeria subscriber base hits 5m

(MENAFN) The Senior Vice President of Etisalat Group said that the UAE telecom provider currently has five million active subscribers, Gulf News reported.

The company has achieved the five million subscriber base in less than two years of commercial operations in Nigeriaï¿½s dynamic and highly competitive telecommunications market.

According to the official, Etisalat has a successful history of attracting record number of subscribers in new markets.

Etisalat Nigeria, said bin Ali, has recorded several achievements including being adjudged the best telecoms service provider by the Nigerian Communications Commission.

The company currently has coverage in all the 36 states of the federation as well as the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, he added.
