(MENAFN) Exports of manufacturing industries in Tunisia reached 17.1bn dinars, growing by 5.1 percent in the Jan-August period of this year.
However, the country faced a decline in the value of olive exports, by almost 1bn dinars compared to the previous year.
On the other hand, the increase was due to the performance of mechanical and electrical industries whose exports grew by 13.8 percent to 8.474bn dinars.
In addition, exports of manufacturing industries also grew by 13.4 percent amid the same period of this year, excluding food industries.
