(MENAFN) Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai-based low cost airline; flydubai, announced that in mid-February of the current year, it will commence a new route to Dhaka, Bangladesh, Arabian Business reported.
According to Ghaith, the addition of Dhaka to flydubai’s route network is its first announcement of 2011, which is projected to be even busier than 2010, during which a new service to Chittagong was introduced, making it the carrier’s first foray into Bangladesh.
Flights to Dhaka from Dubai will operate four times per week starting February 14, making it flydubai’s 28th destination, and providing passengers direct low cost flights from Dubai to another of the South Asian country’s cities, the CEO clarified.
