France to support Egypt’s energy sector with EUR175mn

(MENAFN) France aims to support Egypt in the energy sector with EUR175mn, involving EUR150mn for elect and EUR25mn for oil.
Accordingly, the French Minister emphasized that France installed many vital projects in different sectors in Egypt like establishing the three lines of Cairo metro.
In addition, furnishing the new Qasr El-Aini Hospital, launching an information system in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and establishing several power plants and others.
Accordingly, the AFD’s role in boosting co-op relations between Egypt and France was emphasized, given that AFD contributed to financing many important projects.
