(MENAFN) Middle Eastern airlines handled 9.4 percent more cargo in July compared to the same month last year, while their capacity was up by 7.8 percent, Gulf News reported.

In the January-July period, the freight market for the Middle East carriers has increased by 9.8 percent while capacity has grown by 8.9 percent, while globally, air freight volumes increased by 5.8 per cent in July compared to last year.
