(MENAFN) Galfar Engineering and Contracting chairman, Shaikh Salem Said Hamed Al Fannah Al Araimi, stated that the company won an USD95.83 million contract from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), reported Times of Oman.
Al Araimi also said that the contract was for the development of PDO’s Nimr?G and Karim West water flood projects. He pointed out that the development would be completed by 2014.
The chairman of the leading contracting firm in the Gulf region added that Glafar has around USD1.55 billion order book position, which shows the company’s strong performance and financial results.
It is worth noting that Galfar Engineering and Contracting has EPC capability in oil and gas, roads and bridges and civil sectors operating in Oman, other GCC countries as well as India.
