(MENAFN) The construction industry across the Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) countries is forecast to witness more growth from 2015-2018, driven by well-disposed macroeconomics, optimistic demographics, and mounting tourism activities, Oman Daily Observer reported.
In addition, the industry will be further supported by higher budget allocations that come in part of several countries’ strategic vision for upcoming future events such as the World Cup in Qatar.
“Activity in sectors across infrastructure, residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, etc., has taken center-stage in inviting global participation and attracting the attention of businesses and tourists alike,” an official statement said.
