GCC ministers aims to construct ‘Smart Cities’
21 Feb 2016
(MENAFN) The Gulf authorities plan to adopt the ‘Smart Cities’ strategy as part of the new housing projects being applied in the Gulf Cooperation Council nations.
Accordingly, adopting the Smart Cities plan among the new housing projects in the GCC nations is planned at justifying energy usage at large.
In addition, the plans will be considered within the framework of the local structural plan, as well as each nation’s vision for sustainable electricity use.
The main topics of the project are smart and modern projects in health, information, communication technology, smart buildings and smart energy.
