Glass LLC wins USD76.2m worth of projects in H1

(MENAFN) Glass LLC has announced that its coating lines, comprising subsidiaries Emirates Glass and Saudi American Glass, have won projects exceeding USD76.2 million in the first six months of 2015.

During the first half of 2015, the new orders include multiple projects worth USD40.8 million in the UAE, USD20.4 million in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and USD12.24 million in Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.

Glass is an inherent part of the construction industry in the region, and with over USD4.3 trillion forecast to be spent on construction in the MENA region in the current decade.

“The order books of our glass subsidiaries are strong this year, in line with the increasing demand for our high-quality, energy-efficient products,” executive president for Emirates Glass said.
