Biondo added that the recruitment would be in the departments of marketing, sales and other technical support at both senior and junior levels for Google’s Dubai and Cairo offices.
He also said that Google was considering launching office in Saudi; moreover, the company was in the process of establishing a platform for interaction between the Saudi citizens and the Minister of Education, where Saudi’ would have the opportunity to ask questions to the minister relevant to his department.
It is worth noting that the MENA region’s contribution to Google’s advertising revenues is less than 5 percent, on the other hand, Google’s 2011 searches surged by around 30 percent and advertising revenues hiked by 118 percent.
