(MENAFN) The Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Air, Samer Majali, said that the airline launched a new service to Basra, Iraq, with 4 weekly flights, reported Gulf News.
Majali said that 4 flights would operate weekly with the Embraer and A319 aircraft which offer Falcon Gold class and Economy Class.
The CEO said that the new service to the Iraqi city is the carrier’s fourth destination in Iraq.
Majali added that the launch of the new service to Basra would connect the people and businesses of the city with Bahrain, in which the airline is based. In addition, it would link the city with the entire Middle East, European, Asian and North African markets.
