(MENAFN) Hilton Worldwide CEO said that the company mulls bringing Waldorf Astoria brand to Abu Dhabi, Arabian Business reported.
Hilton plans to nearly double its presence in the Middle East as the region becomes increasingly important to its overall operations.
The US hotel operator said lately it would open its first Waldorf Astoria in Dubai following a deal with local conglomerate Al Habtoor Group..
The hotel will be the second Waldorf Astoria in the UAE, following the opening of Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah at the end of 2012.
Hilton is currently operating 3,600 hotels across the world, and has signed 18 new hotels in the Middle East and Africa this year.
