Hilton opens Makkah Convention Hotel in Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN) In Saudi Arabia, Hilton had opened the Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel, which has a view overlooking Al-Masjid Al-Haram, in an addition to the Hilton’s growing Middle Eastern portfolio.
Andreas Lackner, regional head, brand management, Hilton said: “The opening of Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel marks Hilton”s 12th hotel in Saudi Arabia,” and he added: “With more than 30 hotels under development, Saudi Arabia features our largest development pipeline in the Middle East and we look forward to extending our renowned hospitality across the country.”
In details, the hotel had the largest pillarless ballroom on Makkah, and it has the ability to accommodate up to 1,600 people, as it contains the first and largest convention center in the city.
The General Manager for Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel, Mark Allaf said that the hotel offered contemporary accommodations in one of the world’s most monumental cities.
