HLG wins $190m project in Dubai

(MENAFN) Al Habtoor Leighton Group’s (HLG) CEO Laurie Voyer said that the company has won a $190 million building contract in Dubai from Daman Investments, Gulf News reported.

The project, named Daman’s Buildings, is located at the Dubai International Financial and includes three towers: a 20-storey office block, a 60-storey hotel and a 60-storey apartment block with an intricate steel inter-connection between the two towers.

According to the CEO, HLG will start working on the project directly while its due completion by December 2011.

He added that there are noticeable chances in large-scale infrastructure across the region.
