Housing Ministry implements late sanitation projects in Egypt

(MENAFN) The Ministry of Housing will made a schedule in the coming days to apply the delayed water and sanitation projects in a number of governorates, to increase the efficiency of infrastructure.

Accordingly, the water and sanitation projects in the 13 governorates were late due to the insufficient budget through the past few years, and the failure of some of the firms.

In addition to this, the Council of Governors confirmed to offer 10 percent of the implemented units in the Social Housing Project as shelters for emergencies, like victims of earthquakes.

The shelter units are given to the situations that don’t meet the needs of social housing, and the governorates would pay the price of the dedicated units to the Social Housing Fund.
