(MENAFN) Jet Airways’ Market Development and Pricing’s VP for Gulf and MEA, Ratan Ratnakar, said that in the April- September period, the carrier’s operations in the UAE grew 20 percent from 2010, reported Emirates 24/7.
Ratnakar added that the India-based company was the largest private Indian airline operating in the region, since its services reached to 10 airports with 22 daily flights.
He also said that Jet Airways operated a daily flight from Sharjah to Kochi, which would be the tenth daily service from the UAE to India and the twenty-second flight from the Gulf to India, moreover, Jet Airways would launch a daily flight from Sharjah to Trivandrum that would start late October.
It is worth noting that Jet Airways started operations in the Gulf in 2008.
